Abstract

The aim of the research is to identify the impact of the use of the "Shayer and  Adey" model in teaching Arabic on the development of cognitive achievement in grammar and the attitude towards emotional participation among sixth-grade primary students. The research sample consisted of 22 pupils from the sixth grade of primary school in Madinat Al-Uxmal Elementary School of the Qena Educational Administration in Qena Governorate, and the research was based on the experimental educational approach, and the experimental design was based on the one group of pre and post measurements. The results of the research indicated the effectiveness of using the "Shayer & Adey model in the teaching of the Arabic language on the development of cognitive achievement in grammar and the trend towards emotional participation among sixth-grade students.The program also indicated a correlation between the development of cognitive achievement in grammar and the development of pupils' attitude towards emotional participation, and the research presented a set of recommendations and proposed research In light of the research results.
